Were the [F]whole earth echoing His em - [Bb2(no3)]inence
His [F]name would burst from [F/A]sea and [Bb2(no3)] sky
From [F/A]rivers to the [Bb2(no3)]mountain tops

{start_of_verse}
When every [F]creature finds its inmost [Bb2(no3)]melody
And every [F]human heart its [F/A]native  [Bb2(no3)]cry
O then in [F/A]one enraptured [Bbmaj7]hymn of praise
We'll sing [F/C]Christ be [C(4)]magni - [Bb2(no3)]fied    [Bb6]     [F/Bb]     [Bb2(no3)]

Instrumental
[|]  [Bb2(no3)]      [|]  [C(4)]          [|]  [Dm7]         [|]  [F/A]         [|]

{end_of_verse}
{comment: Bridge 1}
[Bbmaj9]I won't bow to idols I'll stand [C(4)]strong and worship You
And if it [Dm7]puts me in the fire I'll re - [F/A]joice 'cause You're there too
I [Bbmaj9]won't be formed by feelings I hold [C(4)]fast to what is true
If the [Dm7]cross brings transformation then *I'll be [F/A]crucified with You*

Alt. lyrics: *You can hang me there with You*

{comment: Bridge 2}
'Cause [Bbmaj9]death is just the doorway into re - [C(4)]surrection life
If I [Dm7]join You in Your sufferings then I'll [F/A]join You when You rise
And when [Bbmaj9]You return in glory with all the [C(4)]angels and the saints
My [Dm7]heart will still be singing and my [C(4)]song will be the same (To Ch. 1a)

{start_of_chorus}
